In between one of our overseas engagements, “ A Touch of Fire” was invited to perform on a local Los Angeles cable TV show. It was a small set that didn’t have the room, nor the equipment, necessary for our show, so we had to prerecord all the songs in a recording studio the night before. During the actual taping of the show, we had to pantomime to those recordings. As a drummer I found that to be quite difficult. Going through the motions trying to duplicate what I played in the studio the night before. It was a little challenging. Because of the hot lights beaming down on us, it was probably better for the vocalists. The practice of pantomiming is not unusual for groups that perform on TV, but for me it wasn’t something I was use to doing. Non-the-less, the show went off without a hitch, and everyone was happy. There was a brief interview of us, by the host of the show, prior to the taping.
