About Donald Walker
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the Fall of 1949, Donald has always been driven by a profound desire to explore and explain everything surrounding him. Consequently, as a young child, Donald’s toys rarely lasted more than a few days. He was constantly breaking them apart in his quest to discover the internal workings of their various components. This often caused his younger brother, Kenneth, concern over the safety of his own toys.
Donald grew up loving music, and at the age of 10 he began playing the drums in his school’s marching band. While in high school at age 17, he formed a twelve-piece band and eventually took them on the road.
Their journey, which lasted more than a decade, took them across the United States, Canada and Asia. This gave Donald the opportunity to express his musical abilities while simultaneously experiencing different cultures: something he will never forget.
Donald wrote about the time he spent in music in his book “The Unknown Musician.” Donald also wrote two additional books, “The Resurrection of Common Sense” and “Happiness Naturally.”
Donald, who retired from law enforcement in 2007, now spends his time travelling between the U.S. and Asia, enjoying life every step of the way.
